Kidnapper almost sentensed to death by Lagosians

According to eyewitnesses in the vicinity, the suspect was on a motorcycle when he spotted a little girl accompanied by her mother at Beckley's Estate in the area, when he jumped down from the bike, grabbed the little girl and mounted back on the steaming motorcycle but eventually he ran out of luck

before he could escape as the mother of the child raised the alarm which drew other passerby who chased and apprehended him.

It was reported that when the kidnapper realized that there was no way he could escape from the mob, he threw the child from the bike with the hope that his pursuers would stop chasing him but the chasers continued to be on his trail till he was eventually caught.

The suspect was stripped naked and given the beating of his life while the injured girl was taken to the hospital. The arrival of policemen from the Oko Oba Division rescued him from the jungle justice and and took him into custody.
