Man United to step up Paul Pogba Chase

Jose Mourinho has turned his attention to signing Paul Pogba for Manchester United, according to French publication L'Equipe, after all but finalising a deal to bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the Premier League.

Juventus are unwilling to part company with the 23-year-old midfielder for anything less than €100 million, and Man United's lack of Champions League football could present a problem. However, the French outlet reports that Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, is set on engineering a return to Old Trafford. In addition to representing Pogba, Raiola is the agent of Ibrahimovic and another United target, Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Mourinho reportedly plans to field a 4-3-3 formation that will see Wayne Rooney line up alongside Pogba in midfield with Ibrahimovic, Anthony Martial and Mkhitaryan in attack.

Manchester United have already added Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan is thought to be close to following them, but Jose Mourinho is reportedly desperate to land his fourth target this summer.
Paul Pogba is rumoured to be the last of their four targets, and the Red Devils have stepped up negotiations with the France international's representatives, according to the Guardian.
It would be a transfer that would shock European football, but Juventus will be desperate to maintain Pogba for another season. However, securing Miralem Pjanic in addition to an extortionate fee for Pogba might allow them to assemble a squad capable of returning to the Champions League final.
