Chris brown arrested for assault allegation

After an hourslong standoff against the Los Angeles police department, Chris Brown came peacefully out of his Tarzana home on Tuesday (Aug. 30) afternoon and was taken into custody on

a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.

According to USA Today, the LAPD confirmed that the singer was “arrested at some point this afternoon.” LAPD public information Officer Tony Im said Chris brown was arrested with his lawyer, Mark Geragos, by his side, after a “thorough investigation” that produced “probable cause” for arrest.

The ordeal began in the early morning hours on Tuesday when a woman, Baylee Curran, claimed Chris brown pulled a gun on her while she was looking at some jewelry in his home and told her to “get the fuck out.”

The police arrived at his home to investigate the call-in and attempted to enter the premises but was denied and told to obtain a search warrant.

In the meantime, Brown post a few NSFW videos from inside his home, in which he railed against the police and proclaimed his innocence.
