Christmas and New Year season means
different things to different people. But for this first set of screen
celebrities, the season for them represents an opportunity to show and share love,
spend time with loved ones, reflect on the outgoing year and, of course, plan
and look forward to a prosperous New Year.

CHRISTMAS and
New Year, to me, are seasons to love, share and be merry.
So, I
am just going to be here, show love, share what I can afford and just be merry,
even though the current state of the economy is making that dwindle. One has to
do his or her best to keep the spirit alive.
But I
will be with the family and I will hang out with some cool friends during the New
Year holiday.
As for
New Year resolutions, there will be none for me, as I don’t believe in it.
And as
for career plan for next year, I have some projects in the pipeline already. I
think I will just take things one-step at a time next year. Easy does it now.

MY
philosophy of life is, learn to be happy always and all obstacles shall
disappear from you.
The
devil doesn't like a happy person, but happiness is the cornerstone of success.
So, this
Christmas, I will first of all thank God for His grace upon my life and that of
my family. As you know, there is virtually no day that news of obituaries
doesn’t fill the air, yet God preserved me and my household. One has to be
happy and rejoice in thanksgiving to Almighty God for such wonderful love
shown to me.
Secondly
is to replicate same love to others, especially the less privileged, who may
not have anyone to stand for them. It is time to show more love to them by
sharing what God has given me over the months, because the most joyful way to
spend Christmas and New Year is to invest in the life of the less privileged.
It has
been my way of life for the past few years and I intend to sustain it, by the
grace of God. There is no better way to show appreciation to God.
As for New
Year resolution, it has become an annual ritual to make pronouncements on
"dos" and "don’ts," but few months in the year the whole
thing is forgotten.
So, my
resolution is to make more efforts to worship God and let His Will be done upon
my life.
On my career plans, I will continue the work on
what God has given me already and pray to break new grounds in the industry.
My return
to the industry after I took time off for my family has been very eventful and
I want to use this opportunity to appreciate Mary Remmy Njoku, who provided me
the platform, and to thank my fans for standing by me always. I promise to give
them more reasons to appreciate my works and give me more support.
The
rest will be left in God's hands. I wish everyone a wonderful Christmas
celebration and peaceful 2017.

CHRISTMAS, for
me, is family time and giving to those you love and others who don't have as
much as you do.
It is
also my stocktaking period and re-strategising for the new year.
The new
year will see me birth my own productions for television and films mainly,
while consolidating on creation of my own broadcast platforms.
I have
had a remarkable year. I have been blessed to be in movies at the cinema that
all did above 20 million mark. And I am even more joyed because all films show
a delightful range of how far I am willing to stretch myself, as an
actor.
From a
militant in Oloibiri to a loving
husband with a dark secret in The Grudge,
then a loving father in the Dinner
to a very flawed husband in The Wedding
Party.
And, of
course, my favourite, 3 Wise Men, where
I played an unrepentant hedonist with relentless pursuit of fun, with a few more
scheduled for release in the new year.
On
television, Hush, I am told is the
biggest telenovela in Africa right now, with the highest ratings on cable television.
I have
had an amazing come back and am just thankful and grateful to every director or
producer that kept faith with me.
I am
revved up for the new year, buoyed and excited. Can't wait.

CHRISTMAS and
New Year, for me, is a time to relax with loved ones, be happy, reflect and
anticipate the coming year.
I am
spending this Christmas in Europe with my sisters.
My New
Year resolution is to be more involved with the Innercity Missions for Kids in
Nigeria.
As for
career plans, they are still undergoing finishing touches. I have a couple of
them in the works that I will take on next year.
I have
an interactive show for actors slated for January next year. So, my dreams keep
getting bigger.
