General Pype releases the original song 'Gbagbe oshi' which Davido bought over and recorded for his EP "Son of Mercy".
According to reports, General Pype who performed the unreleased single at one of the editions of the Industry Nite eventually sold off the song to Davido for over a million naira.
This was how it came to be a Davido record as well, using the same lyrics but adding his own background vocals and adlibs for his version.
