Again! Tanker falls in Lagos, Along Jakande Gate, ISolo

An empty petrol tanker fell today, July 20 along oke afa isolo road, causing heavy traffic just after the Justrite Shopping Mall.

   The incident, which happened around 12:00pm created traffic congestion around the area for a long period of time before the intervention of the state’s fire service men and emergency workers from Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) to curb further disaster that could have occurred.

   A source said the accident was caused by over speeding and recklessness on the part of the driver who was heading towards Ejigbo suburb of Alimosho LGA but later lost balance due to potholes on the road, but fortunately there was no casualty during the time of the incident.
