Only 'Men' Stand Up To Tyranny And They Are Crowned Living Legend - Martins Oyeoka

 Many a time in history, tyrants have reigned supreme in kingdoms, being ruthless; killing their subjects, illegally enriching themselves; selling and pocketing what belongs to all and also arrogating raw power(s) for themselves, to do and undo, even though the world have moved fast through civilization, this tyrants still rear themselves out in lots of ways and disguise too. 

Through history when tyrants hold sway, it only took bold, resolute but little action(s) of other men, most time common and ordinary men to overthrow and bring about revolutionary change in such kingdoms.

I have no intention of going historical nor running far of the road, Engineer Tony Okechukwu is a living legend, without sounding vane or alluding to his personality or ego, actions maketh a legend given the scenario they manifest which speaks louder than their words.

Engineer Tony Okechukwu is no coward, he never bows to your wealth nor to your person when you don't merit it or will you ever bribe your way through him, when name, people interest, standard and future is at stake to protect, he is a man not of many parts but of one single part and lane which is "let the right thing be done and the right path followed".

Giving the ongoing imbroglio in Awka town, he has remained a solid rock, protecting his people given his office as the President General of Awka Development Union Nigeria, ADUN, even when the tyrants there be in Awka town, led by the Chief Imperial Clown feels they can intimidate and wrestle power, legitimacy and down play his person, by telling the low minds and not too informed that he is a 'power drunk' so they could perpetuate themselves to power and just like tyrants; enrich themselves with the common wealth of Awka, be ruthless to the people and arrogate powers not backed by legitimacy to themselves and eventually see to the raping of Awka town.

But luckily for Ndu Awka, they have a son cum legend in Engineer Tony Okechukwu, who the tyrants feel by playing to the people's psychology, that Tony Okechukwu is a power drunk and taking him to court, they have literally won the battle against him and the people taken his seat for themselves but they met the wrong personality in Tony, who is a dogged fighter, the tyrant feel they can 'overthrow' him in a civilian coup by trying to conduct a parallel PG election when all formal arrangements have been put in place to conduct a free, fair and people's mind election to elect who will do the biddings of Ndu Awka and not that of select individuals but this select individuals decided to go ahead and elect their own clownish PG.

Sane Ndu Awka have gone ahead to stand solidly behind the noble man, Tony Okechukwu, who their interest he puts above his, unlike the hungry touts who peanuts are dished out to, to sing in high voices for the coupist and Chief Clown to which they will still go hungry.

Time is now for Ndu Awka to open their eyes to see beyond their nose and pledge their loyalty to where legitimacy lies so that of future generation to come is not jeopardized.
